About the Hackathon

CodeSpark India 2025 is a national-level coding event hosted by KBN College to ignite the passion of tech enthusiasts and innovators. Participants will develop solutions to real-world problems across diverse themes including AI, Cybersecurity, Web Dev, IoT, and more.

Code of Conduct

CodeSpark India 2025 is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and productive environment for all participants. All attendees, including sponsors, partners, and participants, must adhere to the following guidelines:

No Plagiarism or Re-Using of Past Work

Submit projects prepared during the hackathon. Disclose any re-used code or prior submissions. Undisclosed re-use may lead to disqualification.

Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) Tools

AI tools (e.g., code generators, chatbots) are allowed with disclosure of their use and extent in the submission. AI-generated content must not dominate the project. Non-disclosure or over-reliance may lead to disqualification.

No Discrimination

No discrimination based on gender, age, race, religion, nationality, or other characteristics is tolerated.

No Harassment

Harassment, including offensive comments, intimidation, or inappropriate contact, is prohibited.

No Recording Without Consent

Photography/videography requires consent. Respect requests to delete or retract media.

Creation of a Safe Space

Sexualised materials or behaviors that create an inappropriate environment are prohibited.

Intellectual Property

Participants own their work. Submissions grant KBN College a non-exclusive license for event purposes only.

Health and Safety

Prioritize well-being. No alcohol or drugs. Report emergencies to organizers. Rest areas provided.

Overnight Conduct

Use designated rest areas. Respect quiet zones and avoid restricted areas.

Project Submission Guidelines

Submit by the deadline. Manage time for coding, rest, and collaboration.

Team Collaboration

Collaborate respectfully. Resolve disputes with organizers’ mediation if needed.

Venue Etiquette

Keep the venue clean, respect property, and report damages.

Data Privacy and Device Security

Secure your devices and data. Use provided Wi-Fi and respect others’ project privacy.

Team Size

A team of 2(min) to 3(Max) members can form a team irrespective of your college/company/city etc...

Emergency Procedures

Follow organizer instructions during emergencies. Exits and first aid stations are marked.

Rules for Long-Distance Participants

  • Inform organizers of travel plans 7 days in advance.
  • Check-in 2 hours before the event; notify late arrivals 4 hours prior.
  • Use rest areas; store bedding in designated spaces.
  • Store luggage securely; organizers not liable for loss.
  • Notify early departures 4 hours in advance.
  • Arrange own transportation; organizers provide a guide.
  • Respect cultural and linguistic diversity.

Always Report

Report violations or concerns to organizers immediately for assistance.

Consequences of Violations

Violations may lead to expulsion, resource access block, or reporting to authorities.

Participants must agree to this Code of Conduct during registration or check-in.
