Library is a treasure house of knowledge and it is considered as the heart of any educational institution. K.B.N. College UG library was established in 1965 and was named after Sri. Tallam Satyanarayana. The library was started with great ambition and commitment with a bare minimum of one thousand Books at the time of Its inception. Book lovers like Leautnant colonel A.K Singhal, Sri. P.Madhu Sudhana  Rao, Sri KBS Sastry, Sri Immedisetty Akkeswara Rao, Sri NV Ramana, Smt. Siva Parvathi, Sri TV Subba Rao, Sri MSS Sasidhar donated books to our library. Telugu academy, Hyderabad also donated books generously. The college committee added a set of volumes on Vedas.

               The library has been identified as the Second Best Library in the purview of Acharya Nagarjuna University in 2011. The Library has a collection of 48,188 volumes, 121 journals both national and international, 39 Periodicals, 1200 CD’s & DVD’s for e-Learning.  The library maintains a book bank for poor students and organizes competitions  to encourage reading habit among students . Dewey decimal classification system is followed  for the arrangement of the books .

Special Features:

Automation: The entire library is fully furnished. The collection of books is computerized and this computerized catalogue is made available for staff and students (OPAC) in the intranet.

Open Access: The open access system facility is available for both degree and intermediate students.

Book Bank facility:  Book Bank facility is available for the economically backward students.

On-line Journals: Staff and students can access to more than 3100 e- Journals and 75000 e- books under the N-list programme of INFLIBNET.
